Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits

Frying chicken is an art and is highly dependent on the staff. The chicken here is great. Plus the floor was clean and not slippery (which can tell you alot about any fried chicken restaurant).

It's always busy at this location and a long wait time. I still don't understand why it hasn't been addressed. Also, the quality of the food is never consistent. Last night I order the shrimp basket after waiting in line for over 10 minutes to receive fries that had been sitting and greasy and the shrimp were over cooked. The time before that I waited forever and the shrimp was fresh but the fries wasn't. So be willing to take the risk if you go and they're the only cajun place in the area.

*sigh* I really like the chicken sandwich at Popeye's. Tastes great and is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. What I don't like about Popeyes chicken sandwich, is Popeyes. There is always something wrong with the restaurant. This particular restaurant the drive through was closed. There was one person taking orders, and another person's filling orders, but the line was 10 people deep. They are never in a rush, this is more slow food than fast food. The person near the front of the line was complaining that they had been there for 15 minutes. My wait was closer to 10, but this is supposed to be fast food!!
